Governor to visit co-op for fiber announcement
Branson, Missouri –The Missouri Governor’s Office, Missouri Department of Economic Development, and White River Valley Electric Cooperative will be holding a joint press conference on Thursday, March 2 to recognize the efforts made to ensure fiber internet will be made available to those living in rural areas of the Ozarks.
The press conference will be held at White River Valley Electric Cooperative located at 2449 State Highway 76 East, Branson, Missouri at 4 p.m.
Earlier this year, on January 23, the Missouri Department of Economic Development announced it was awarding White River Valley Electric Cooperative $47,387,646 through the ARPA Broadband Infrastructure Grant Program.
