Energy Star Rebate Program

The energy rebate program from White River Valley Electric Cooperative (WRVEC) encourages members to purchase Energy Star appliances to lower overall energy consumption.

Energy Star is a government-backed program that rates appliances on their energy efficiency. In 2008, the use of Energy Star approved appliances saved enough energy to curb greenhouse gas emissions by the equivalent of 29 billion cars. As an added bonus, Americans saved $19 billion dollars on their utility bills.

WRVEC encourages you to save money and conserve energy. If you’re looking into cutting the cost of your electric bill and need to replace appliances, make use of our rebate program.

Commercial Lighting Rebates

Commercial Lighting RebatesThe commercial lighting rebate program from White River Valley Electric Cooperative (WRVEC) is offered to commercial, industrial and agricultural cooperative business members.

The focus of this program is to encourage business members to use less energy to light their facilities by saving them money. Many opportunities exist for cost-effective retrofits to an existing lighting system and it is possible to simultaneously increase lighting levels and use less energy if the most efficient technology and practices are used.

Only business members with more than 10 bulbs or fixtures at their facilities will qualify. The rebate amount will be determined prior to installation and calculated based on an audit of existing and replacement lighting. The total rebate amount is limited to $30,000 per business member per year and the rebate cannot exceed 40 percent of the total equipment cost.
